What is Oracle NetSuite?
NetSuite is the world's most deployed cloud ERP - a single, real-time system for financials, inventory, order management, CRM, and more. As a vendor-agnostic partner, we recommend NetSuite when it is genuinely the best fit for your business, then implement it end to end and localise it for the UAE.
NetSuite capabilities we implement
- Financial management & accounting
- Order & inventory management
- Procurement & vendor management
- Supply chain & demand planning
- Manufacturing & production
- Project management & job costing
- CRM & sales force automation
- SuitePeople HR & workforce management
- SuiteAnalytics dashboards & reporting
Is NetSuite the right ERP for you?
A strong fit if you are...
- Multi-entity or multi-subsidiary groups needing real-time consolidation across free zone and mainland
- Inventory-, distribution-, or trading-heavy operations that outgrow entry-level accounting
- E-commerce, retail, or omnichannel businesses that need orders, stock, and finance in one system
- SaaS or subscription businesses that need recurring billing and revenue recognition
- Professional-services firms running project accounting, resourcing, and job costing
- Companies roughly in the USD 10M to 500M revenue band planning to scale
Often a poorer fit if you are...
- Simple single-entity businesses that only need basic bookkeeping - a lighter tool is cheaper and faster
- Organisations unwilling to adapt heavily bespoke or legacy processes to a standard cloud ERP
- Teams wanting a fixed, one-off software purchase rather than an annual subscription
- Very small firms where the licence and implementation investment would not pay back
Modules
NetSuite modules - what is core and what is an add-on
NetSuite is modular, not tiered. A base subscription includes the core modules every business needs; you then add functional modules and users a la carte as your operation requires them. We scope exactly which modules you need in discovery so you are not paying for capability you will not use.
Included in the base subscription
- Financial Management & GL - General ledger, AP, AR, and core accounting - the financial backbone every NetSuite account runs on.
- Order Management - Sales orders, quotes, invoicing, and fulfilment workflows built into the core platform.
- Basic Inventory - Item records, stock tracking, and basic inventory management for straightforward operations.
- CRM - Leads, customers, and sales-force automation, unified with your financial and order data.
- Platform & SuiteCloud tools - SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, roles, dashboards, and the customisation platform underneath everything.
Add-on modules (licensed a la carte)
- Advanced Financials - Budgeting, expense allocation, statistical accounts, and amortisation beyond the core GL.
- Advanced Inventory & WMS - Demand-based replenishment, multi-location, lot and serial tracking, and warehouse management.
- Manufacturing - Work orders, bills of materials, routing, and production scheduling for makers and assemblers.
- SuiteBilling - Subscription, usage, and recurring billing with revenue recognition for SaaS and services.
- SuiteCommerce - Native B2B and B2C e-commerce storefronts connected directly to inventory and finance.
- SuitePeople HR - Core HR, employee records, and self-service. Note: native payroll is USA-only - UAE WPS needs a third-party provider.
- OpenAir PSA - Professional-services automation - project accounting, resource management, and utilisation.
- Procurement & Supply Chain - Vendor management, requisitions, and supply-chain and demand planning for complex sourcing.
- SuiteAnalytics - Advanced reporting, saved searches, and analytics workbooks across your whole data set.
Which modules match your need
| Multi-entity finance & consolidation | Financial Management + OneWorld |
| Distribution & warehousing | Advanced Inventory & WMS + Procurement |
| Production & assembly | Manufacturing + Advanced Inventory |
| Online & omnichannel retail | SuiteCommerce + Order Management |
| Subscription / SaaS billing | SuiteBilling + Advanced Financials |
| Project-based services | OpenAir PSA + Advanced Financials |
| HR with UAE payroll | SuitePeople HR + third-party WPS payroll integration |
NetSuite has no Standard, Professional, or Enterprise editions. Anyone quoting you an 'edition' is describing a different product - NetSuite scales by adding modules and users, not by upgrading a tier.
How We Deliver
How long a NetSuite implementation takes
A typical UAE mid-market NetSuite implementation runs about 4 to 6 months (roughly 10 to 17 weeks). A preconfigured SuiteSuccess rollout can go live in 3 to 4 months, while a complex multi-subsidiary programme can run 9 to 15 months. We agree a scoped timeline in discovery before any build begins.
Discovery & Solution Design
Process mapping, module and entity scoping, and a signed statement of work so there are no surprises later.
Configuration & Build
Core configuration, UAE localisation, SuiteScript and SuiteFlow customisation, and integration build.
Data Migration
Chart of accounts, open balances, masters, and history migrated from Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or spreadsheets, fully reconciled.
Testing, Training & Go-Live
User acceptance testing, role-based training, and a managed cutover with hands-on go-live support.
What extends the timeline
- Multiple subsidiaries, currencies, or free-zone and mainland entities needing consolidation
- Heavy SuiteScript customisation or complex third-party integrations
- Poor-quality source data that needs cleansing before migration
- Manufacturing, WMS, or subscription-billing modules with detailed process design
- Slow user availability for testing, training, and sign-off
The faster path: SuiteSuccess
SuiteSuccess is Oracle's preconfigured, industry-specific delivery model with leading-practice defaults - it can bring a straightforward business live in 3 to 4 months, with a minimum entry investment around USD 25K.
Investment
What NetSuite costs in the UAE
NetSuite has two separate cost lines: the annual software subscription (licence) you pay Oracle, and the one-time professional-services fee for implementation. The figures below are indicative 2026 market ranges to help you budget - they are not VOIITS pricing. Your actual investment depends on modules, users, entities, and complexity, which we scope on a call.
Annual subscription (licence)
Paid to Oracle yearly: a base platform fee (indicatively around USD 999/month) plus per-user pricing (indicatively USD 129 to 199 per user per month) plus any add-on modules.
One-time implementation
A separate professional-services fee for scoping, configuration, migration, and go-live - commonly USD 30K to 150K+, roughly one to two times the annual licence.
Indicative ranges by business profile
| Business profile | Indicative range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| SuiteSuccess entry / small single-entity | from ~USD 25K implementation | Preconfigured, leading-practice rollout with limited customisation. |
| Mid-market, single or dual entity | ~USD 30K to 80K implementation | Core finance, inventory, and UAE localisation with some customisation. |
| Multi-entity / distribution / manufacturing | ~USD 80K to 150K+ implementation | OneWorld consolidation, extra modules, and integrations. |
Costs teams often forget to budget
- Add-on modules and extra user licences as the team grows
- Third-party integrations, including a WPS payroll provider and an e-invoicing ASP
- Data cleansing before migration if source records are messy
- Sandbox environments and premium support tiers
- Post-go-live enhancements and annual maintenance (AMC)
All figures are indicative 2026 market ranges, not a VOIITS quote. Book a scoping call and we will size your licence and implementation to your actual requirements.
Built for the UAE
NetSuite for UAE compliance
We configure NetSuite for the compliance realities UAE businesses face - so filing, payroll, and audits just work.
VAT at 5% via SuiteTax
We configure SuiteTax for FTA VAT at 5% and VAT 201 returns, including reverse charge (from 1 January 2026 you retain the original supplier invoice rather than self-invoicing) and designated-zone rules: zone-to-mainland goods at 5% via reverse charge, zone-to-zone at 0%, and services always at 5%.
Corporate Tax - 0% and 9%
NetSuite tracks taxable income for UAE Corporate Tax: 0% on the first AED 375,000 and 9% above. Qualifying Free Zone Persons can retain 0% on qualifying income where substance, activity, and transfer-pricing tests are met. Small Business Relief expires 31 December 2026.
E-invoicing - Peppol PINT AE
The UAE moves to Peppol UBL 2.1 (PINT AE) e-invoicing - PDFs are not compliant. A voluntary pilot runs July to December 2026, with Phase 1 mandatory from 1 January 2027 for revenue of AED 50M or more. Appoint an accredited ASP by 30 October 2026. We deploy the NetSuite Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp with ASP middleware.
WPS payroll via a third-party provider
NetSuite SuitePeople native payroll is USA-only, so UAE WPS is handled through an integrated third-party payroll provider (file or API), not SuitePeople native payroll. That gives you salaries paid by the 1st of the month, monthly SIF submission, and avoidance of late-payment penalties.
OneWorld multi-entity & free zones
NetSuite OneWorld runs multi-entity, multi-currency (190+ currencies) operations with real-time consolidation across JAFZA, DMCC, DIFC, and ADGM entities alongside mainland companies - with AED as base currency and automatic FX gain and loss.
Audit-ready trail
Every transaction, tax code, and adjustment is logged with a full audit trail the FTA expects, so VAT and Corporate Tax filings, plus statutory audits, are backed by traceable, reconciled records.
Connected
Integrating NetSuite with your stack
NetSuite exposes the SuiteTalk API (REST and SOAP) so it can sit at the centre of your systems. We pick the integration approach that is cheapest to run and maintain for each connection - not whichever is easiest to build.
Pre-built SuiteApps
The SuiteApp marketplace offers 700+ ready connectors and add-ons - the fastest, most maintainable route when one already fits your need.
iPaaS platforms
For many-system or high-volume flows we use iPaaS tools like Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft for managed, monitorable integrations.
SuiteScript custom integration
Where nothing off-the-shelf fits, we build bespoke SuiteScript integrations against SuiteTalk - shaped to your workflow and upgrade-safe.

Vendor-Neutral
NetSuite vs SAP, Dynamics 365, and ERPNext
We are vendor-agnostic, so here is an honest, side-by-side view of where each ERP fits. The right choice depends on your size, complexity, and budget - not on which product a reseller happens to sell.
| ERP | Architecture | Best fit | UAE tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| NetSuite | True multi-tenant cloud SaaS (all customers on one codebase) | Multi-entity, inventory-, e-commerce-, and services-heavy mid-market | SuiteTax for VAT & Corporate Tax; third-party WPS payroll |
| SAP S/4HANA & Business One | On-premise, private, or public cloud options | Large or process-heavy enterprises with deep, complex operations | Configurable for FTA VAT & Corporate Tax; localisation-dependent |
| Microsoft Dynamics 365 | Cloud (Azure), tightly integrated with Microsoft 365 | Microsoft-centric organisations wanting a unified productivity stack | Configurable for FTA VAT & Corporate Tax; localisation-dependent |
| ERPNext (Frappe) | Open-source; cloud or self-hosted | Cost-conscious SMEs wanting low licence cost and full control | Configurable for FTA VAT & Corporate Tax via localisation apps |
We implement all of these. If NetSuite is not the best fit for your business, we will say so and recommend the platform that is.
Why VOIITS
Why implement NetSuite with VOIITS
Vendor-neutral advice
We are not tied to NetSuite. We recommend it only when it fits - so when we implement it, you know it is the right call, not a sales quota.
UAE compliance built in
FTA VAT, Corporate Tax, and WPS are configured from day one by a team that lives the UAE regulatory landscape.
A local Dubai team
Implementation, training, and support in your timezone - based at Dubai Design District, serving Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
One partner, end to end
From selection through go-live and ongoing AMC - one accountable team, not a reseller who disappears after the licence sale.
Experienced implementation team
A team that has delivered ERP across 30+ UAE industries, so your NetSuite build reflects real operational know-how.
In Practice
How UAE businesses use NetSuite
These are illustrative scenarios that reflect common UAE patterns, not named-client case studies - shared to show the kind of outcome a well-scoped NetSuite build delivers.
Multi-entity trading group
A distributor with a JAFZA free-zone entity and a mainland company uses OneWorld to consolidate in AED in real time, with designated-zone VAT handled automatically via SuiteTax.
E-commerce & retail brand
An omnichannel retailer runs SuiteCommerce, inventory, and finance in one system, so online and store orders draw on the same stock and post straight to the GL.
Professional-services firm
A consultancy uses OpenAir PSA for project accounting and utilisation, with WPS payroll handled through an integrated third-party provider and Corporate Tax tracked in NetSuite.
De-risked
Implementation risks - and how we manage them
Most failed ERP projects fail for the same handful of reasons. Here is how we design each one out from the start.
The risk
Scope creep and an ever-moving target
How we manage it
A signed statement of work in discovery fixes the scope; changes go through a controlled change process, not silent additions.
The risk
Over-customisation that breaks upgrades
How we manage it
We favour configuration and SuiteFlow over code, and keep SuiteScript upgrade-safe so NetSuite's twice-yearly releases do not cause rework.
The risk
Dirty data migrated in
How we manage it
We cleanse and reconcile the chart of accounts, balances, and masters before cutover, validating opening positions so day one is correct.
The risk
Low user adoption after go-live
How we manage it
Role-based training and change management bring finance, sales, and operations up to speed before and through go-live.
The risk
Compliance configured as an afterthought
How we manage it
UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing readiness, and third-party WPS payroll are built in from day one, not bolted on before an FTA deadline.

FAQ
NetSuite implementation - your questions, answered
What UAE teams ask us most about Oracle NetSuite.
A typical UAE mid-market implementation runs about 4 to 6 months (roughly 10 to 17 weeks). A preconfigured SuiteSuccess rollout can go live in 3 to 4 months; a complex multi-subsidiary programme can run 9 to 15 months. The timeline depends on modules, entities, data-migration complexity, and customisation, and we agree a scoped plan in discovery before any build begins.
There are two cost lines: an annual software subscription paid to Oracle, and a separate one-time implementation fee. Indicatively, the subscription is a base platform fee (around USD 999/month) plus per-user pricing (around USD 129 to 199 per user per month) plus add-on modules; implementation commonly runs USD 30K to 150K+. These are indicative 2026 market ranges, not VOIITS pricing - we size your quote on a scoping call.
The licence is the recurring annual subscription that gives you access to the software. Implementation is a one-time professional-services project - discovery, configuration, data migration, customisation, training, and go-live. The two are budgeted separately, and implementation often costs roughly one to two times the annual licence.
Yes. We configure SuiteTax for 5% FTA VAT with VAT 201 returns, reverse charge, and designated-zone rules, and track UAE Corporate Tax at 0% on the first AED 375,000 and 9% above - all with an audit-ready trail the FTA expects.
We make it ready. The UAE moves to Peppol PINT AE (UBL 2.1 XML) e-invoicing - PDFs are not compliant. A voluntary pilot runs July to December 2026, and Phase 1 is mandatory from 1 January 2027 for revenue of AED 50M or more. Appoint an accredited ASP by 30 October 2026. We deploy the NetSuite Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp with ASP middleware to transmit compliant invoices.
NetSuite's SuitePeople native payroll is USA-only, so UAE WPS is handled through an integrated third-party payroll provider (via file or API), not SuitePeople native payroll. That gives you salaries paid by the 1st of the month, monthly SIF submission, and avoidance of late-payment penalties, with the data flowing back into NetSuite.
NetSuite has no Standard, Professional, or Enterprise editions - it is modular, not tiered. You start with a base subscription that includes core modules, then add functional modules and users a la carte. Anyone quoting you an 'edition' is describing a different product.
The base subscription includes Financial Management and GL, Order Management, basic Inventory, CRM, and the SuiteCloud platform tools. Modules such as Advanced Financials, Advanced Inventory and WMS, Manufacturing, SuiteBilling, SuiteCommerce, SuitePeople HR, OpenAir PSA, Procurement, and SuiteAnalytics are licensed a la carte on top.
Often not. NetSuite shines for multi-entity, inventory-, e-commerce-, or services-heavy businesses, typically in the USD 10M to 500M revenue band. A simple single-entity business that only needs basic accounting is usually better served - and better value - with a lighter tool. As a vendor-agnostic partner, we will tell you honestly.
Yes, via NetSuite OneWorld. It handles multi-entity, multi-currency (190+ currencies) operations with real-time consolidation across free-zone entities like JAFZA, DMCC, DIFC, and ADGM alongside mainland companies, with AED as base currency and automatic FX gain and loss.
We implement, customise, migrate, and support NetSuite end to end - we are not a licence reseller who disappears after the sale. Because we are vendor-agnostic, we recommend NetSuite only when it is the best fit, then deliver the whole project from scoping through go-live and ongoing AMC.
We are an experienced implementation team, vendor-agnostic across NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365, ERPNext, and custom builds. We recommend and deliver the ERP that fits you best rather than pushing one vendor. Oracle does not publish partner tiers for NetSuite, so beware anyone claiming a 'Gold' or 'Platinum' NetSuite tier - it does not exist.
Yes. We migrate your chart of accounts, opening balances, customers, vendors, items, and historical transactions from Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or spreadsheets - cleansed, reconciled, and validated before go-live so your opening position is correct on day one.
SuiteSuccess is Oracle's preconfigured, industry-specific delivery model built on leading-practice defaults. For a straightforward business it can bring NetSuite live in 3 to 4 months, with a minimum entry investment around USD 25K. It trades some flexibility for speed and lower risk.
NetSuite is a true multi-tenant cloud ERP suited to multi-entity, inventory-, and services-heavy mid-market firms. SAP suits large, process-heavy enterprises; Dynamics 365 suits Microsoft-centric organisations; ERPNext is an open-source, low-licence-cost fit for cost-conscious SMEs. We implement all four and recommend the one that fits your business.
We offer managed support and AMC from a Dubai-based team - system administration, enhancements, user help, and UAE-compliance updates - so you are never left on your own after launch, and your VAT, Corporate Tax, and e-invoicing configuration stays current.
The common risks are scope creep, over-customisation that breaks upgrades, dirty migrated data, low user adoption, and compliance treated as an afterthought - all of which we design out with a fixed scope, upgrade-safe build, data cleansing, role-based training, and UAE compliance from day one. And yes, you can switch partners mid-implementation: we regularly take over stalled projects, review the build, and get them back on track.
